McDonald's special sauce: Learning

At McDonald's, we used business metrics to show that the top-performing restaurants used our training more effectively. As a result, those restaurants enjoyed lower crew and manager turnover, higher employee engagement, better customer satisfaction scores, fewer complaints, and higher cash flow. Further, because we were able to show our impact on the business, the business was willing to give us the resources we needed to develop, deliver, and maintain effective and relevant learning.
